Effective: April 26, 2026
AlbumRestore is designed to do its work entirely on your iPhone or iPad. This page explains what that means for your data.
AlbumRestore asks for access to your Photos library so it can read and reorganize your existing photos and albums on your behalf. Photos and albums never leave your device through AlbumRestore. They are read, modified, and written back into the same on-device Photos library that the built-in Photos app uses.
If you have iCloud Photos enabled in iOS Settings, your photos may sync to iCloud through Apple's Photos service. That syncing is performed by iOS, not by AlbumRestore, and is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
AlbumRestore stores a small amount of information on your device to support its features:
This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to the developer or to any third party. Deleting AlbumRestore removes all of this data.
AlbumRestore is not directed at children under 13. Because the app does not collect any personal information, it does not knowingly collect information from children.
AlbumRestore does not collect or transmit any personal data, so there is no data the developer holds to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. To remove all data the app has stored on your device, uninstall the app.
If this policy is updated, the new version will appear at this URL with a new effective date.
